The Squirmy Wormy is an attractive pattern for trouts, graylings and perches. When the most common flies don’t work, this fly can save your day, literally!

First introduced in a fishing competition in the US, where the team won the game, soon it became popular, taking place in many fly fishing anglers boxes.

A piece of silicone material mainly makes the Squirmy Wormy; this material has excellent movement in the water.
The micro chenille wrapped around the hook makes the Squirmy Wormy more durable. It covers the part where the teeth can break it.
It doesn’t matter if you lose a piece of rubber in the point or the tail; it is essential to keep this pattern in shape as a real worm as much as possible.

How To Fish The Squirmy Wormy

Use it in stream or river, let it follows the water flow, don’t pull it. If the water is not too fast work with the rod tip, give some taps to the Squirmy Wormy to imitate the movement of a real worm.
